LK Investigating Sexual Abuse Allegations Involving Dr. Christopher Davis and Pyramid Healthcare

Dr. Christopher Davis, 63, is under investigation for allegedly abusing his position to exploit patients. Between 2022 and 2024, he allegedly coerced patients into sexual acts and pressured them to send nude images through his private practice and while acting as a medical director at Pyramid Healthcare in York, Pennsylvania. Dr. Davis worked at Pyramid Healthcare since 2012. 

These allegations involve serious misconduct including sexual assault, the illegal administration of controlled substances, and threats of retaliation against those in recovery. While operating at the facility in Springettsbury Township and through a private practice, the physician allegedly exploited the provider-patient relationship through intimidation and the misuse of prescriptions such as methadone and Adderall.

Dr. Christopher Davis’ and Pyramid Healthcare’s History of Sexual Abuse

Here are the details of the allegations against Dr. Davis:

• In March 2026, Dr. Christopher J. Davis, pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual extortion, and four counts of administering a controlled substance to individuals with whom he had a sexual relationship. 

• In April 2025, Dr. Christopher Davis was arrested for allegedly sexually abusing multiple addiction patients in 2021–2024 while serving as medical director at Pyramid Healthcare in Springettsbury Township and through his private practice. 

The investigation began when a nurse practitioner at the clinic reported concerns to the attorney general’s office about Davis’ practices. Four women alleged they feared losing their addiction treatments if they didn’t have sex with Davis. He allegedly encouraged them to drink alcohol or misuse medications while still on their treatment. One woman alleged he gave her money to buy and use fentanyl.

Davis was charged with alleged rape by threat of force, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, sexual extortion, illegal use of a communication device, illegally giving a controlled substance, and providing false or fraudulent information.

Jane Doe 1: Davis allegedly kissed and inappropriately touched her during treatment. They allegedly had sex during every office visit where she didn’t have to pay because they were “dating.” Davis allegedly made home visits look like legitimate medical appointments. 

Jane Doe 2: Davis allegedly sexually abused her starting in September 2022 during appointments. She feared losing her methadone treatment if she rejected his advances. On one date, he allegedly encouraged her to drink despite her treatment. Another time, he allegedly threatened to kill her if she told anyone about their relationship.

Jane Doe 3: Davis allegedly paid her for sex on multiple occasions after threatening to cut her off from the methadone program.

Jane Doe 4: Davis allegedly touched her sexually during two office visits in 2023. She said he sent sexually explicit texts, inviting her to a hotel or for drinks, despite her addiction treatment. She allegedly feared he might cut off her methadone treatment.

Davis already had a criminal history, which led to suspension of his medical license in 2002, before he began working at Pyramid Healthcare. Pyramid Healthcare has a history of questionable employment practices and was fined in 2013 by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for employing individuals whose backgrounds made them ineligible for participation in Federal healthcare programs.
