MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN HIGH-IMPACT CASES
Talc Baby Powder Removed from Market After Landmark Jury Verdicts
Levy Konigsberg has won millions of dollars in cases against Johnson & Johnson relating to asbestos in baby powder. The firm’s landmark cases on behalf of victims of mesothelioma resulted in awards of punitive damages intended to punish and deter J&J’s misconduct. The litigation was instrumental in causing J&J to remove talc-based baby powder from the U.S. market in May of 2020, marking a significant change in the market.

Flint Water Crisis Settlement
Historic Flint Water Crisis Settlement Helps Thousands of Children
Levy Konigsberg is representing thousands of lead poisoned children in the Flint Water Crisis litigation. Our firm was a driving force in achieving the historic $626 million partial case settlement. Our firm successfully fought to ensure that almost 80 percent of the settlement funds would go to children exposed to the lead-contaminated water. We are committed to ensuring the care and support of children affected by the crisis, recognizing the importance of legal protection for individuals at a young age. In response to our efforts, the court found that Levy Konigsberg and the plaintiffs’ leadership group “worked carefully and diligently” and demonstrated “perseverance.” Our work on behalf of the people of Flint is continuing with our jury trials against private engineering companies whose negligent acts helped cause and exacerbate the Flint Water Crisis.
