Roland Lucas is an Associate Attorney at Levy Konigsberg LLP, where he specializes in litigation on behalf of survivors of sexual abuse.
Prior to joining Levy Konigsberg, Roland spent three years as an Assistant District Attorney with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, where he handled a wide array of cases from charging to verdict. As a prosecutor, Roland served in the Major Trials Unit where he litigated motions, bench trials, and jury trials on a variety of violent felony cases in the Court of Common Pleas.
Roland earned his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law, where he served as Executive Director of the College of Law’s Advocacy Honor Society and competed in national trial competitions. During his law school career, Roland also completed several internships and externships, including serving as a law clerk for the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee and the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office. Upon graduation, he was inducted into the Order of Barristers in recognition of his outstanding performance in trial advocacy. Roland also obtained his LL.M. from Temple University’s renowned post-doctorate program in Trial Advocacy in 2025.
Prior to attending law school, Roland served in AmeriCorps, teaching public high school students in West Philadelphia. Roland received his B.A. from Rutgers University – New Brunswick and studied abroad at the London School of Economics during his undergraduate career.
Roland is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
