BIO
Brian Karalunas is a partner and trial lawyer at Levy Konigsberg. He represents individuals who have suffered catastrophic injuries, survivors of sexual abuse, and those harmed by institutional and corporate misconduct.
Prior to joining Levy Konigsberg, Brian practiced at a leading plaintiffs’ firm representing clients in medical malpractice and personal injury cases. He previously worked at a commercial defense firm on nationwide products liability and commercial disputes.
Brian received his B.A., summa cum laude, from Villanova University, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and earned his J.D. from Stanford Law School. He then clerked for the Honorable Thomas M. Durkin of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Before starting his legal career, Brian spent nine years playing professional lacrosse, during which time he was a seven-time all-star selection. He has coached youth, high school, and collegiate athletes across the country, including serving as head coach of Stanford University’s men’s lacrosse team.
